European Parliamentary elections candidates Graham Watson, Kay Barnard and Justine McGuinness will officially launch their manifesto in Bristol alongside Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg this morning (11 May).
At the launch event, the top three candidates on the party list for the South West will come together to announce their European priorities, and kickstart campaigning ahead of the 4 June elections.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Graham Watson - who is first on the party list - said:
"We're keen to reveal some of our key priorities for Europe, in particular our commitment to green issues, which we feel can only be addressed by working alongside our European neighbours. The European Union has been the source of much of Britain's environment legislation and the Liberal Democrats in the European Parliament have had a big input into the greening of Europe."
